I made this cake for the arts department at my church – for all the people involved in putting together the Christmas services. They put in a lot of work to put on 7 services for the community, so I thought I’d send some sugar their way to keep the energy up!
I thought this would be faster than making a gingerbread house – I was wrong. It took just as much effort to decorate individual walls and put them on the cake as a whole house would have.
I made gingerbread and eggnog cake layers with an eggnog cream cheese filling.
