Creating is a joy. I find my flow state whenever I am working on a craft, making a cake or practicing my harp. Seeing something come from abstract idea to fully realized object in the world gives me satisfaction like nothing else. My day job works in the digital space – I make websites and graphics, but they don’t give the same level of satisfaction as something I’ve made with my own hands that exists in the real world.

I love to learn and to experiment. Trying new techniques is fun and exciting, and taking something I’ve learned in one medium and using it another is even better. 

As a multipotentialite, one of my ‘fears’ is having to do the same thing forever. I work on what interests me; I do take custom orders and requests, but I focus on what is new and exciting. I don’t want to become an assembly line, churning out the same thing day after day. I want to sample the whole buffet.

Homemade gifts are my love language. When you make something for another, you are giving them your time poured into your efforts, all the while thinking about them. If I make you something, then know you are important. I want to take that attention to detail to the items I make for purchase as well. I may not know you, but I am thinking of you during the process. I hope you enjoy what I make as much as I enjoy making it.
