I play piano, flute, harp and Rav Vast

Musical Journey

My musical journey started around 13 when my younger brother started taking piano lessons. I really didn’t want to put in the work to learning, but after seeing his lessons, I decided to give it a try and never looked back. In high school, I took up flute. the year before COVID, I rented a harp and took some lessons just as something new to learn and loved it from the first time I ran my finger down the strings. I started watching videos on YouTube of all sorts of interesting instruments, and decided to buy myself a Rav Vast drum, that I’m still learning how to play and I LOVE IT. I have my eye on a few other instruments, but I need to pace myself!

I want to create a tranquil sound oasis where people can have a small escape from stress & worry; a oasis of sound where people can experience an escape from stress.

What I want most

What I want most from my music is to play tranquil music in beautiful places. I don’t play piano much for anyone except myself, and I never really had much drive to do so. I play my flute with the Kelowna City Concert Band, and in a couple of other smaller ensembles, but that is mostly for my enjoyment. When I learned harp, I wanted to share my music with everyone – like the annoying guy who brings his guitar everywhere. It has brought me a feeling of peace that I want to share with other people. I want to create a tranquil sound oasis where people can have a small escape from stress & worry.
